Welcome Address to Prospective New Students

Dear Prospective Students,

It is my great pleasure, on behalf of the Management, Academic Staff, and entire staff of Oasis College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje, Abuja, to warmly welcome you to our institution.

We are delighted that you have chosen to express interest in joining our College and to pursue a career in the noble and rewarding profession of Nursing. Nursing is a profession that requires knowledge, discipline, compassion, dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to the wellbeing of humanity. As you prepare to begin this important journey, I encourage you to approach your studies with seriousness, determination, and a willingness to learn.

At Oasis College of Nursing Sciences, we are committed to providing a conducive academic environment where students are adequately prepared both theoretically and practically for the demands of the nursing profession. Our goal is not only to help you obtain your qualification but also to develop competent, ethical, compassionate, and professionally responsible nurses who can contribute meaningfully to healthcare delivery in Nigeria and beyond.

Information on the Post-UTME Examination

As part of the admission process, I wish to inform all prospective students that our Online Post-UTME Examination of the College has been scheduled to take place on:

Date17th and 18th September 2026
Time10am-8pm each day
ModeOnline Examination

The examination will cover the following subjects:

  • 1 English Language
  • 2 Chemistry
  • 3 Physics
  • 4 Biology
  • 5 Current Affairs

Prospective students are therefore advised to prepare adequately for the examination and ensure that they have access to a reliable internet-enabled device and a stable internet connection during the examination period.

Candidates are expected to take the examination seriously and adhere strictly to all instructions that will be provided by the College. Further information regarding the examination procedure, login details, examination guidelines, and other necessary instructions will be communicated through the appropriate channels.

I strongly encourage every prospective student to begin preparing now. Do not wait until the last minute. Revise your basic concepts in the prescribed subjects, improve your knowledge of current affairs, and familiarize yourself with the use of online examination platforms.

Matriculation Ceremony

I am also pleased to inform you that following the successful completion of the admission process and commencement of your academic programme, the College will hold its Matriculation Ceremony in February 2027.

The matriculation ceremony will formally mark your admission into the College and your official commencement of your academic journey as students of Oasis College of Nursing Sciences.

It will be an important occasion for you, your parents and guardians, the Management, and the entire College community. Details regarding the exact date, venue, dress code, and other arrangements for the matriculation ceremony will be communicated to admitted students in due course.

A Word to Our Prospective Students

As you prepare to join us, I want you to understand that gaining admission into a nursing programme is not the end of the journey; it is the beginning of a demanding but rewarding one.

From your first day in the College, you will be expected to demonstrate discipline, punctuality, respect, academic commitment, good character, and professionalism. You will be required to comply with the rules and regulations of the College and maintain the standards expected of a student nurse.

Your success will depend largely on your attitude towards your studies and your willingness to make the necessary sacrifices. There will be challenges, but with determination, hard work, proper guidance, and a positive attitude, you can overcome them.

To our prospective students, I encourage you to see this opportunity as the beginning of a meaningful career dedicated to saving lives, promoting health, caring for the sick, and serving humanity.
